Short Course Description

This course is part of the MA in Emergency Management and Public Health (EMPH) in the School of Medicine. The course focuses on the role of Climate Change and Global Warming on natural hazards and disasters. These natural disasters are mainly related to changes in the weather and climate, such as heat waves, wildfires, drought, tropical storms, flooding, etc. The course also focuses on the Public Health impacts of these natural disasters, and the role changing impact due to climate change.
