Short Course Description
Epidemiology is one of the central and essential basic sciences of public health. Epidemiology, is engaged in the investigation of disease distribution and causes as well as in development of tools for disease control and prevention. This introductory course is aimed for all students in the public health discipline. During the course, the students will be introduced to the basic principles, methods and tools of the epidemiological research, will be exposed to the rolls and possible implementations of the epidemiological research in the public health as well as the clinical arenas and acquire essential skills for critical evaluation of scientific publication in the area of health.
