Short Course Description

Safety above all !!!
The safety course is intended for graduate students (MSc and PhD). The cross provides the basic safety principles that must be applied in the laboratory and other university buildings or on tours outside the university.
One part of the course that will be given by zoom (on Friday October 23 2020) , includes instruction on 'fire safety', 'chemical safety', 'biological safety' and a 'first aid' course.
On Friday, November 6, 2020, a multiple choice exam will be held through the moodel. This exam will cover only the above described zoom part.
The second part of the course is based on internet lessons in various areas of safety. Students must complete the lessons when at the end of each there is an exam.
The safety course is general for both Biology and Medicine faculties, however, students must receive orientation and individual guidance by the head of the laboratory they have joined to acquire the specific safety knowledge on their experimental environment.
