Prerequisites: Chemistry for Biomedical Engineering, Physiological Systems in the Human Body (2), Solid Mechanics, Fluid Mechanics.

The course is taught in English.

Cell structure, biological tissue, engineering models of cell structure and tissue, transport and diffusion processes, ion movement and electrical potentials, kinetics of cellular processes, the bond and mechanical forces between cell and tissue, effect of mechanical processes on biochemical processes, gaseous flow, gaseous flow Tissues and their growth, biological materials, biotechnological processes, mathematical models.
