Short Course Description
The course introduces the field of Information Systems Security in its various components. Strengths and weaknesses, cyber security goals, structure of computers and communication networks, their limitations and vulnerabilities. The course reviews technological aspects in the development and model of operation of the Internet, protocols and their sensitivity to hacking, the WEB and its dangers, cloud computing and the security challenges involved, cryptographic elements and tools, common attacks, attack and protection infrastructures (protocols and tools).
