Short Course Description

The course presents the methods, used to measure, analyze, design and operate work systems. It introduces the engineering problem solving process, aimed to solve problems by collecting data, evaluating alternatives and implementing changes in the structure of processes and their performance. The course deals with the need to consider problems from a systems-perspective, combining the consideration of the technology, the humans involved in the process, and the environment.
