Short Course Description

Prerequisites: Design of Database Systems
Objective:
The main goal of this course is to teach about and expose students to the foundations
of information systems field by providing the students with the skills to understand
the role of information in the management process and the basic principles of
management information systems. The student will learn how to manage information
as an organizational resource and how information technology can support the
planning and implementation of a successful business strategy.
