Short Course Description

Step into the dynamic world of Geoinformatics, where data meets the environment to guide smarter, sustainable decisions. This course is designed for master's students and participants in international environmental programs who are eager to make a real-world impact through spatial thinking and technology.
You will explore how geospatial data can reveal patterns in environmental change, urban growth, biodiversity, and climate challenges. Through interactive lectures combined with real-time practical sessions, you will gain not only foundational knowledge but also valuable hands-on skills.
By the end of the course, you'll be able to collect, analyze, and visualize geospatial data to support informed environmental decision-making at local, regional, and global scales.
