Short Course Description

The course will discuss the technological basis of mass spectrometry-based proteomics, the biochemicalmethodologies and the applications to basic and clinical research. The main topics are: Types of mass spectrometers and their mode of action, ionization methods, peptide fragmentation, quantitative proteomics and omputational analysis of mass spectrometric data.
